Privacy Policy

SIH India respects your privacy and aims to be clear about what information is collected through sihindia.com and why.
SIH India is currently an early-stage healthcare technology initiative operated by its founder in India. It has not yet been incorporated as a separate company, LLP or other legal entity.
This Privacy Policy covers the current SIH India website, including the Founding Pass and early-access registration, messages you send us, and related website interactions.
It does not describe the processing of patient medical records or clinical information through a future SIH India healthcare platform. If SIH India launches services that process health records or other sensitive healthcare information, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that processing begins.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you claim a Founding Pass or register for early access, we collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Mobile number, if you choose to provide it
- City, as entered by you
- The role you select (for example patient or caregiver, doctor, hospital or clinic, lab, pharmacy, insurer, healthcare professional, or partner)
- Your Founding Pass number and the date you registered
- The consent you gave and which version of the consent wording you saw
- How you reached the form (for example a WhatsApp share link, another website, or a direct visit)
If you write to us, we also receive whatever you include in your message.
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, health reports, Aadhaar numbers, financial information or other sensitive information through the current website.
Technical and security information
To run the website and stop abuse, some technical information is processed:
- Your network (IP) address is combined with a secret value and converted into a one-way hashed identifier. Only this hash is stored, and only to limit repeated or automated registrations from one network. We do not use it to identify you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-check service, may process browser and device signals to tell people from automated programs.
- Request timestamps and standard technical logs are processed by our infrastructure provider to deliver and secure the website.
Usage counts
To understand whether the website is useful, we count a small set of actions, such as how many times the page was visited, the demo was started, the Founding Pass form was started or completed, or a pass was saved or shared. These are stored only as daily totals, with the page or channel they came from. They contain no name, email, network address, cookie or other identifier, and cannot be linked back to you.
2. Why we use your information
We use the information collected through the current website to:
- Register you for the Founding Pass and early-access programme, and issue your Founding Pass number
- Prevent duplicate, automated, fraudulent or abusive registrations
- Contact you about SIH India, early access, product development and launch
- Understand interest in SIH India among patients, doctors, hospitals and other healthcare participants
- Improve the website
- Respond to your messages and privacy requests
- Meet applicable legal obligations
We do not sell personal information.
3. Consent
The Founding Pass form asks for your consent before the personal information submitted through that form is stored, and explains what is collected and why. (The anonymous daily usage counts described in section 1 do not include personal information.) By ticking the consent box and submitting the form, you agree that SIH India may process your information for the purposes described there and in this Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent, or ask for your information to be deleted, at any time by writing to connect@sihindia.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before your request.
4. Communications
If you claim a Founding Pass, SIH India may contact you about development and launch updates, early access, opportunities to take part, and important changes to your registration. You can ask us to stop non-essential messages at any time by replying to a message or writing to connect@sihindia.com.
5. How long we keep information
We keep Founding Pass and early-access information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: managing early access and sending relevant SIH India updates, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask for deletion at any time by writing to connect@sihindia.com.
Founding Pass numbers are not reissued after deletion.
When SIH India launches its production platform, this section will be replaced with a more specific retention schedule based on the actual categories of data and legal requirements.
6. Your requests: access, correction, deletion
You can ask SIH India to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you, and give you a summary of it
- Correct or update your information
- Delete your information
- Stop non-essential communications
- Look into a concern about how your information has been handled
Write to connect@sihindia.com from the email address you registered with, or tell us how to verify that the request is yours. We will respond within a reasonable time having regard to the request and applicable law.

Because SIH India is an early-stage initiative not yet incorporated as a separate legal entity, it does not publish a registered office and does not claim to have appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer. These details will be updated here if the organisational or legal status of SIH India changes.
8. Service providers
The website runs on Cloudflare, which provides website delivery, server-side functions, security services (including Turnstile) and the database that stores Founding Pass registrations. Cloudflare processes information on SIH India's behalf only as needed to provide these services. Cloudflare operates infrastructure in many countries, so information may be processed outside India, subject to applicable law.
9. Security
SIH India uses reasonable measures suited to the current stage of the website, including encrypted HTTPS connections, server-side validation, bot checks and rate limits, hashed network identifiers, restricted administrative access to the database, and security headers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe information you submitted may have been compromised, write to connect@sihindia.com.
10. Children
The Founding Pass and early-access registration are intended for people aged 18 or older. People under 18 should not submit the form. If we learn that information has been submitted by someone under 18, we will delete it.
11. Information stored in your browser
The website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. After you claim a Founding Pass, your pass details (number, name, role, city and date) are saved in your own browser's local storage so the pass can be shown to you again on that device. This stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.
12. Links to other services
The website links to services run by others, such as WhatsApp for sharing your pass. Their privacy practices are their own; please review them before sharing information with them.
13. About the Founding Pass
A Founding Pass is an early-community and early-access registration. It is not a medical record or health identity, does not represent ownership or equity in SIH India, has no monetary value, and does not guarantee access to any future paid or regulated healthcare service. See the Terms of Use.
14. Changes to this policy
SIH India is at an early stage, and its services and legal status may change. When this policy changes materially, the dates at the top will be updated and, where appropriate, we will tell registered members.
